Hi! Here’s my reflection on mobility:D

The community we are currently serving is for the elderly, or more specifically dementia patients, so ever since we started going there, we realised that many of the elderly there had many problems moving around. For example, many of them needed wheelchairs or walkers to just move for a short distance, which was very inconvenient for both the elderly and the caregivers. Furthermore, they had to take a bus to go home, which was also very difficult for them since they had to move up the vehicle.

Promoting mobility in Yong En, the dementia centre we are serving, could help both the elderly and the caregivers. It could no longer be so difficult to transport the elderly from place to place and could also make transport much safer and faster for them too, and make life easier for the caregivers.
